It is unstable. I recommend not going to crazy with it, if you can help it. Use a combination of pull down menus and the ribbon together. Where I work, we are looking at updating to 2009 from 2008. we have a highly customized interface, especially with the pull downs. We are hesitant to go to the new system because of that, but we are going to have to sooner or later. I will keep everyone posted as to how it works for us.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08271671745973808745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-161408568828348657.post-40468083398512900092008-06-09T12:20:00.000-04:002008-06-09T12:20:00.000-04:00Has anynone actually tried to customize the ribbon...Has anynone actually tried to customize the ribbon? If I work with the white background, I have to CAD with my sunglasses on! Open your options dialog. Just type in OP at the command line. Go to the DRAFTING tab. On the left side of the window, near the middle is a button called COLORS. Click it. In the CONTEXT area, click the 2D Model Space option (it will be highlighted when you click it), then on the center of the window in the INTERFACE ELEMENT area, select the UNIFORM BACKGROUND option. Now, on the right side is a pulldown item called COLOR, click the down arrow and a selection menu will appear. Click on the color you want (I choose black).<BR/>I hope this helps.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08271671745973808745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-161408568828348657.post-42276424813863913742008-04-19T09:18:00.000-04:002008-04-19T09:18:00.000-04:00hi i would like to ask how to change the screen in...hi i would like to ask how to change the screen in AutoCAD2009 to black instead of white.. having it in white is really very painful to the eyes.
