AutoCAD Command History

I'm a sucker for history. I'm also a CAD geek (see my blog.) If you have ever wanted to know when a command came and went in AutoCAD, check out this page by Lee Ambrosius of Hyperpics. This is a chart of the many commands, and it is very colorful. This is just a bit of trivia for most, and trip down memory lane for others.

Have fun with it.

  1. I am facing a problem with the express menu of AutoCAD 2000i. After installing Express tool bar, I can see the express toolbar, but no express commands are are working. I tried the "menuload" but it didnot work.
    Please help.

  2. Hmm. . . Can you see and use the Express menu item? Or is it just the toolbars?

Email me because fixing it here could be difficult. When we fix it i will post a response here so others will know what was done.

  3. Is there any way to check the history of commands in specific drawing.

    Thanks

  4. Interesting question. Not that I know of. If you are in a drawing yo can scroll through the command window and look at what was done. But if you mean open a drawing and see what a user did, no. That would add a ton of memory to a drawing! especially if you use templates.
