Check out this survey. My friend Melanie manages it and she does a fantastic job. This article breaks down the data collected into several categories. This year it was decided to release the survey earlier than normal.
I was really hoping it would be out before most people got their annual reviews. I think it's working, as I've had a few of my readers tell me their review is in November, and they wanted to prepare in October.

That's great! I have found this survey to be very useful over the years. I have used it to make sure my rate is where it should be and I will use it while I am looking for new employment. I also find the data interesting to read and compare between regions and positions.
