If you have one, what kind is it? How long have you had it? What do you like/dislike about it? Would you recommend it? Was it worth it?
If you don't have a 3D mouse, why? Are you planning on getting one? What is keeping you from getting one? Price? Won't use it enough? Don't do 3D? What is your opinion about them? Have you ever tried one? Do you want to?
No, didn't have one.
ReplyDeleteFirstly for Catia V3 & V4 i had prefered the LPFKeys and rotators (more expensive but the regular at this time) as it was easier/faster than the RS232 3D Mouse.
And in Catia V5 the middle button is OK for me.
I never tried enough to be really used to it ...
But i liked more the Space ball from IBM rather than the 3D Connexion mouse.
I have a 3DConnexion Space Navigator and don't like it.
ReplyDeleteOur department has a number of them and all are sitting unused now.
For me, the springs to lift and push/pull are too stiff.
I have had a Space Navigator for a few years. I love it, but i will agree with you that the lifting motion is a bit difficult.
